Nika Zlataric, cello
Nika Zlataric, cello, has performed with Apollo’s Fire (Cleveland, OH),
the Rochester Bach Festival and Publick Musick (Rochester, NY), with whom she recorded Bach’s two
Lutheran Masses and four cantatas. She has given recitals and concerts with several chamber groups in Rochester,
New York, Baltimore and Boston. As a part of Weill Institute workshop in 2006, she participated in a Carnegie Hall
performance of Bach cantatas conducted by Ton Koopman. Nika maintains a career as a freelance orchestral player
and a teacher. She teaches cello and chamber music at the Hochstein School of Music and Dance, and music
theory at the Eastman Community Music School. She spends summers teaching 20th century thought and music at the
Governor’s School of North Carolina in Winston-Salem, NC.
